Customer and Technical Service Representative

We’re now recruiting Customer and Technical Service Call Center Representatives who can give the best experience possible to our customer base. Unified Payments will train you thoroughly and help your through your first calls so that you will feel fully comfortable talking with our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • You’ll be our first point of contact for customers, responding to a range of customer issues including, but not limited to: account activation inquiries, technical issues, and queries about the full range of products and services Unified Payments offers.
  • You will help our customers by answering their questions and resolving their problems.
  • You may also conduct research for our customers and respond via phone, email, or fax, but with each call you will be assisting our customers with their individual needs.

  • We’re looking for people experienced in working within a customer service, call center, or sales environment, who have a confident, friendly telephone manner and are motivated by resolving customer inquiries.

Candidate Requirements:

High School education or equivalent, and one to three years of relevant experience, preferably contact center or customer service experience. Efficient computer skills are necessary.

POS Systems Deployment Engineer

The Technical Support Specialist will perform field installations, training and troubleshooting of POS systems and credit card terminals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Hardware & software installation, configuration and training on POS functionality
  • LAN cabling and WiFi setup, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Manage incoming support inquiries via phone, email, and web
  • Troubleshoot POS hardware, software, payment gateway and various other credit card processing applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware including pin pads, EMV card readers and countertop terminals
  • Troubleshoot methods of payment including credit card, check, gift and loyalty
  • Research and Maintenance for POS and Payment Gateways Supported
  • Deployment Rollover and warehouse management
  • Process equipment supply orders as necessary and insure all orders are deployed accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of related technical experience in a field environment
  • Payment industry and POS experience a plus
  • Applies necessary job knowledge, product knowledge, and functional/technical skills.
  • Understands the need for escalation based upon complexity of the issue
  • Keeps knowledge and skills up to date, including learning variety of software and hardware solutions and various operating systems such as Windows, iOS, Android
  • Good understanding LAN and WiFi networks and router setup
  • Able to relay technical and industry specific information into layman’s terms for end users
